Issei Fujita arrived in Italy in 1999, he collaborated in the CARPE DIEM, SARTORIA and LINEA projects until 2005. After this experience, Issei began to develop his own project, where the first meeting of Light and Darkness occurred. This project sprung up as a collection of five t-shirts, whose colors are imprinted on the fabric through a process usually used to develop photographs. The words “Lumen” and “Umbra” relate to two aspects which are at the base of the phenomena that occur in our world. Thanks to the meeting of Darkness and Light all phenomenon become. Forms and colors receive life from this encounter and combination of the two.
