“A calligram is a text visually arranged in a way that it forms an image associated with the text's contents.”

In this Calligram project, made in collaboration with audio-visual artist Alessandro Tinelli, the text and the image are in a conflictual relationship. Every image is realized with just one word of the exact opposite meaning of the visual. In this particular T-shirt a skull is made out of the word "Birth" where a positive value create the corresponded negative value, continuing the legacy of the “apparent contrasts” or “coincidentia oppositorum".

Lights and shadows deeply rooted in Lumen et Umbra aesthetic.
